Job Title : Project Lead, SheFarms

Your job here at Guzakuza is to ensure the smooth working of SheFarms within budget and meet high quality standards on time.

Your responsibilities include, working closely with the project lead to prepare comprehensive action plans, timeframes, budgets and mobilising resources for SheFarms.

To succeed in this role, you should be a critical thinker, flexible and professional.  You’ll collaborate with external stakeholders and internal teams to deliver results on deadlines; therefore, you should have excellent time management, negotiation, fundraising, communication and project management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare budgets
  • Mobilise resources
  • Analyse risks and opportunities
  • Oversee project procurement management
  • Coordinate project management activities, resources, equipment and information
  • Break projects into doable actions and set timeframes
  • Liaise with stakeholders to identify and define requirements, scope and objectives
  • Assign tasks to internal team and assist with schedule management
  • Monitor project progress and handle any issues that arise
  • Act as the point of contact and communicate project status to all participants
  • Work with the Project lead to eliminate blockers
  • Draft all appropriate legal paperwork for all stakeholders (e.g. contracts and terms of agreement)
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports
  • Organizing, attending and participating in stakeholder meetings
  • Documenting and following up on important actions and decisions from meetings
  • Preparing necessary presentation materials for meetings
  • Prepare reports
  • Any other role as may be assigned

Job Title : Fundraising Lead

Your job here at Guzakuza is to mobilize resources and meet high quality standards on time.

Your responsibilities include, working closely with project leads to prepare comprehensive action plans, timeframes, budgets and mobilising resources for Guzakuza.

To succeed in this role, you should be a critical thinker, flexible and professional. You should have excellent time management, negotiation, fundraising and communication skills, as you’ll collaborate with external stakeholders and internal teams to deliver results on deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Develop fundraising strategies for Guzakuza.
  • Research, identify and contact prospective investors/donors.
  • Create a strong fundraising message that appeals to potential investors/donors.
  • Develop materials to submit to granting or other funding organizations.
  • Maintain records of investor/donor information for future use
  • Evaluate the success of previous fundraising events
  • Train volunteers in fundraising procedures and practice
  • Design and coordinate web-based fundraising activities
  • Attend events, meetings, or conferences to promote organizational goals and/ or solicit donations or sponsorships.
  • Contact corporate representatives, government officials, or community leaders to increase awareness of Guzakuza’s causes.
  • To mobilize non-financial resources
  • To monitor donor reporting, grant expenditure deadlines and meet them accordingly
  • To contribute to the production of Guzakuza E-Newsletter and distribution to donors particularly highlighting funds generated and resources mobilized
  • Prepare reports
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirement

Previous Experience in similar

This position requires impeccable writing, speaking, presentation and fundraising skills

Candidates must understand the importance of confidentiality and discretion

Ability to prioritise effectively and attention to detail
